The Minty Charter School experience extends outside of the classroom to an awe inspiring campus built on the many years of work, wisdom, commitment and success of Minty students and teachers.
The Minty Charter campus is one of Boston's premier K-12 school campuses, featuring expansive sports facilities, outdoor community spaces and school auditoriums. Each having independent classroom facilities, our Elementary, Middle and High Schools are set apart to the North, South and East, respectively, with administrative offices at the front of the school, on its West face.
Eon Auditorium is a state-of-the-art immersive and multimedia auditorium that brings the art and science of performance together where students can create entertainment and educational productions and deliver to live and digital audiiences. It features configurable seating and staging, high performance sound, lighting and video projection systems to optimize the experience for performers and audiences alike.
Minty Charter School's groundbreaking blend of traditional, student-driven and project-based education is at its best in Windsor Hall. Here, students work in multi-grade teams on educational projects, led by upper classmen. The facility provides for various classroom and lab configurations as needed, relative to the project space demands.

Multimedia communications is essential in today's society and workplace. Minty Charter's Media Arts Center has 6 labs designed to enable students to create and produce music, video, animation and visual art work. Notable projects include stop-motion animation, 3D animated shorts, short films, video advertising for search and social media, and many more great projects.
At Minty Charter, building strong, lifelong relationships and frienships are an important part of student life. Students are provided off-class time and encouraged to spend time together in our expansive outdoor social venue, Childress Commons. Connected to the school cafe it is daily filled with laughter, student chatter and on Friday's the cheers and chants roused at Minty pep rallies.

Multi-media is an essential part of everyday life for each of us, especially students at Minty Charter. Most of our students were born with communication technology and they take to it intuitively. Minty Charter's Zydeco Multi-Media Center is equipped with the latest technology and facilities for the creation and production of multi-media communication. They are used to take what is learned in the classroom and bring lessons and learning to life in videos, animations and presentations as products of project-based learning.
Minty Charter's blended learning approach, incorporating traditional classroom, project-based and student-driven learning is ideal for Minty's STEAM programming. Used by all grades, the Magnolia STEAM Center is a state-of-the-art center that includes engineering and robotics labs, chemistry and computer programming labs and art studio space for STEAM projects. Learning is one thing, learning to do is another. The Magnolia STEAM Center makes that possible, in a context that puts students on a career path, equipped to succeed.
Minty Charter has a long tradition of sports and extracurricular programs that challenge the body as well as the mind, that challenges one to win on the field as one, and as many! Minty Charter offers students organized sports opportunities, including girls and boys basketball and soccer, boys football and baseball, and girls softball. While a small school, Minty sports have been very competitive in the past with many regional and state champions since inception. Minty's indoor and outdoor sports facilities are modern and well groomed and maintained.
We learn. We imagine. We create! That's the Minty Charter way. The Minty Charter experience is about more than learning. It's about doing, creating and bringing ideas to life. In 2018 we launched the Minty Maker Space, a state-of-the-art maker lab, including 3D printers, desktop C&C machines, laser engravers and 3D scanners to support our STEAM programs.
In the audience or on the stage, the performing arts experience is a grand treasure box, filled with lifelong treasures of memories and experiences with friends, family and fellow students. The Minty Charter Grande Celebration Auditorium is a state-of-the area performing arts facility that hosts more than 25 student performance events annually. This is one of the highlights of every school tour.
