Competitive Compensation & Benefits
San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) offers a comprehensive health and welfare benefit plan to all regularly scheduled provisional or temporary exempt employees whose normal work week is at least 20 hours. Selecting Health Net Canopycare HMO or Kaiser HMO as your medical provider? If so, your medical, dental, and vision will be covered
at no cost to you.
(Some plans include reasonable rates for packages that cover family members; coverage at no cost is for yourself only.)

Healthcare
Eligible employees have the choice of four different medical plans, one dental plan, two vision plans through VSP, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available 24/7.

Professional Development Assistance
Assistance programs are available for licensed teachers and administrators who wish to further their knowledge in a college or university setting. Teachers who take classes related to their professional purview may be eligible for reimbursement.

Compensation
SFUSD offers competitive compensation based on experience and credentialing.

Leave Program
