When teachers have the autonomy and the space to innovate, everyone wins...students, our schools, and our district. SFUSD administrators hear your voice, value your input, and support your outcomes.
We deeply appreciate the contributions of each and every employee on our team. With that in mind, we offer competitive salaries and benefits to attract and retain educators who share our vision for high standards of service in every student and family interaction.
Investing in our teachers strengthens our entire community. We plan and provide resources to ensure our instructors are supported to continue their professional development and leadership skills acquisition.
Whether it's tech support for Google platforms, next-level certifications, or classroom resources, we ensure teachers have access to the school and district support they need. Teacher advancement and school achievement are synonymous with success.
SFUSD is about equity, empowerment, and inspiring students to thrive, and we know that it takes passionate educators to make it happen. Providing each and every student with quality instruction and equitable support ensures our classrooms are engaging and our students have access to the resources needed to enhance their learning experiences. We strive to maintain a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for everyone on our campuses. Clear, division-wide priorities and programs to address opportunity and achievement gaps keep us focused together toward graduating students who are ready for college, careers, and life. Our vision is intentionally ambitious, and your potential here is enormous.

At SFUSD, we know that committed, quality leadership makes a difference in the daily experience of our teachers!
Growing up in San Francisco prepared me to fight for the high-quality schools our students and families deserve. From the community to those in elected office, we all have a great responsibility to our children. Our School Board must work to center the voices of youth, families, educators, and the community, to ensure a quality education for every child.
