Kevine Boggess
Board President
Growing up in San Francisco prepared me to fight for the high-quality schools our students and families deserve. From the community to those in elected office, we all have a great responsibility to our children. Our School Board must work to center the voices of youth, families, educators, and the community, to ensure a quality education for every child.
The Board of Education
The Board of Education is comprised of seven members who determine policy for all public schools, from kindergarten through twelfth grade in the San Francisco Unified School District, City, and County of San Francisco.
Superintendent
Matt Wayne
Prior to his role as SFUSD Superintendent, Dr. Wayne was the Superintendent of Hayward Unified School District, which serves approximately 18,000 students. Before being asked to become the Superintendent at Hayward USD, Dr. Wayne served as Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services in the district. Prior to his tenure in Hayward, Dr. Wayne was an Executive Director of Elementary Schools in SFUSD for two years.
